This season, we are collaborating on a Wood Block Print Series with local artist Leah Klister, inspired by Northerly Flora’s summer bounty. Leah is a wood block printmaker based in Longfellow, Minneapolis.
There will be four flowers featured in the series, each image released the month that flower is in fullest bloom. The tulip pictured is an example of her work, but just a teaser! The series is printed on 8x10 inch printmaking paper. You can purchase them individually at $50 or the entire series at $200. Each print can be displayed alone but would look beautiful together as a set. All prints have shipping included in the price, Leah will mail the print to you the month they are in bloom.
Each print is an original woodcut print (not a reproduction). The image is hand-carved on a wood block and printed by hand on high-quality, archival, printmaking paper. Each month’s print is part of a limited edition of prints (a print of an original artwork that is produced in predetermined quantity). The number of prints will be greatly determined by interest through pre-orders each month. Additional prints may be available but not a large quantity.
